Pendant les vacances

Je cuisine pour elle pendant les vacances et elle mange mes petits gâteaux avec délice //
During the holidays I cook for her, and she eats my cakes with delight

What can I say? Lucky her, I suppose. Not sure how she manages to eat the cakes, what with having no mouth, but she must be managing somehow.

Is it my imagination or has the cat gotten even rounder over the said holidays?
